Dad pased away suddenly on 29th September 2010 at the age of 63 surrounded by his family. He was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis only 6 months earlier but no-one knew at that time how devastating & cruel this disease could be. He was a devoted family man, married to Janet for over 44 years and has 3 kids Amanda, Bruce & Louise, 8 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild and was a loving brother and uncle. One of the saddest things about Dad's illness was that he had found a new lease of life since retiring just over a year earlier and had everything to look forward to. He was a very generous man and donated to many charities with the main ones to sponsor children abroad which he did for many years. He loved walking, gardening, excercising & in his younger years cycling & playing darts. He had a big heart and would do anything for you. He has left a great big hole that will never be filled. We think about him every day and he will always be missed.
